It is
advantageous to use Vanishing Lubricants
that disappears after it has done its job.
These materials leave a light coating of
lubricant on the part during processing and
then evaporate shortly thereafter. In many
cases these vanishing lubricants can
completely eliminate cleaning operations.
Our vanishing oils will not turn tacky or
gummy, have mild or no odor and are designed
to always stay fluid. Vanishing lubricants
can be used on ferrous and nonferrous
metals.

1.To Whom It May Concern: We are looking to
buy vanishing oil/lubricant for stamped
parts made from .070-thickness plain hot
rolled steel. We produce these parts in the
millions, so we will are looking for a large
volume of the lubricant. The part is 3” wide
by 6” long. The oil/lubricant must protect
our tooling and totally evaporate. Parts
must be completely dry for the painting
process. What would you recommend? |

Viscosity for Evaplubes is 15 to 16.5 seconds on Zahn #2 cup. This viscosity is 0 in centistokes.

Vanishing oils evaporate leaving the surface dry and oil free; they eliminate cleaning and reduce costs. Some medium to heavy duty vanishing oils may leave a miniscule film, which generally does not require removal. All vanishing lubricants can be used on ferrous and nonferrous metals.
Vanishing Oil is a
solvent based lubricant. It leaves a thin
imperceptible film of lubricant. Vanishing
Lubricant facilitates a clean die release of
thin sheet or roll stock. The solvent
carrier in Vanishing oil generally dries in
one to four hours. Normally, cleaning is not
required after using this product. |
