FILLER METAL: Zinc Aluminum (either 95% of Zinc and 5% of Aluminum or 98% of Zinc and 2% of Aluminum).
ALUX 3301: Is especially formulated for brazing of Aluminum by flame: normal welding with torch or on automatic line with gas burner, possibly in oven with a temperature of the oven regulated between 925°F and 1125° F (450 - 550° C) and a suitable filler metal (Zinc/Aluminum).
After perfect homogenization, a stable gel is obtained : the impregnation of the parts are made either by dipping or with a brush. Also the brazing is carried out as usual.
APPLICATION :
APPLICATIONS: Alux 3301 can be used to advantage for manufacturing of evaporators, repairing of the new generation of radiators (Brazed Aluminum), as well for Aluminum part repairing.
PROCESS ADVANTAGES:
Alux 3301, a fine white powder becomes active around brazing temperature.
Flux slurry is easily applied by immersion, flooding or spraying.

DIRECTIONS OF USE :
Alux 3301 is available in the form of a white powder, it is used as a Slurry, Slurry is prepared as follows:
Put 1.08 lb (491g) of normal butonal at room temperature in a glass, plastic or stainless steel container equipped with a fast stirring rod.
Then add 2.2 lb (1kg) of Alux 3301 in two steps;
a.First, pour 1.1lb (500g) of powder Alux 3301 and stir it up strongly
b.Second, add again 1.1lb (500g) of Alux 3301
After perfect homogenization, stir again for 5 to 10 minutes.

APPLICATION :
Impregnation of the parts is then achieved either by dipping or with a brush. Welding is then carried our in a very usual way.
PRECAUTIONS: :
Alux 3301 should be kept in its original packing, tightly closed, in a cool, ventilated and dry place.
PACKAGING :
A plastic can lined with a polyethylene bag of 2.2lb (1kg).
